Are bookstores good places to meet people? Well, yes and no.
In our area, the major bookstore is Barnes and Noble. So listening to my friends, I went there last night, hoping to meet a woman.
So, I go into the Romance section, and saw a cute woman reading a Harlequin romance novel. Only problem was, when I said, "You look like you're into that," she called me a pervert, and asked me to leave or she was going to call security.
I then proceeded to the Sports section, and saw another girl reading a book on football. I said that not many woman are into football, and she then labelled me a secxist pig, and again, asked me to leave.
Failing miserably, I went to the Starbucks section of the store, ordered a Green Tea Frappucino, and the girl asked me if I liked whipped cream with that. I said yes, and she said she liked whipped cream, too. I asked her out, and she said yes.
So, tonight, I have a date with the Starbucks Babe.
